Refreshing designs & lasting quality
The art
Every piece begins as an original, made by hand on paper.
- Never traced, vectorised or tidied up — the print is the artwork itself.
- Printed at the size it was drawn, with all of its character intact.
- Kept small on purpose, sitting where a pocket would.
- Rewards a second look rather than shouting for the first.
The shirt
Three oversized blanks, picked for how they hang and how they take ink. The weights differ a little between them — 200 to 220 gsm — but every one sits well above the 140–180 gsm of an everyday tee. Whichever colour you pick, it is a heavy shirt built to last.
- Classic oversized — 220 gsm cotton jersey, boxy, with a wide neck rib.
- Stone wash — 220 gsm acid‑wash, mottled so no two shirts match.
- Organic oversized — 200 gsm certified organic cotton, cut wide and short.
- Water‑based ink pressed into the fibre, not sitting on top — it softens instead of cracking.
- Printed in Lancashire. UK only, for now.
- Wash inside out, cold, and it will outlast most of your wardrobe.
Why Welsh?
Every animal here goes by its Welsh name — chosen, not translated after the fact.
- Welsh is a stunning language to look at and to say.
- We’re not strangers to it ourselves.
- A little mystery next to something familiar — a chick, a shark.
- Every name in the shop carries its translation, marked with a small red asterisk, plus how to say it out loud.
The eleven good reasons
- Every piece of art is original and made by hand.
- 200–220 gsm cotton — heavier than an everyday tee, cut oversized, and thick enough to hold its shape for years.
- Printed in small runs, not by the thousand.
- One artwork per shirt. No logos, no slogans, no noise.
- Water‑based ink that sinks into the fabric instead of sitting on it.
- Pre‑shrunk, so the size you buy is the size you keep.
- Small on purpose. People notice it on the second look, not the first.
- Printed to order in the UK, so nothing sits in a warehouse.
- New art arrives when it is ready, not on a season’s schedule.
- Royal Mail tracked UK delivery at £3.95, and a thirty‑day, no‑questions return.
- You will get asked where you got it.
